Allen’s Premium 4-bike Hitch Mount Rack, 1 1/4 inch receiver
The Allen Premium 4-bike hitch mount rack, 1 1/4 inch receiver was easily assembled in a few minutes. It attaches snugly to my receiver without wobble with bikes attached. Different styles of bikes all attach easily and securely. I am unhappy with the strap that has to attach to the top of my rear door making it virtually impossible to lower the rack to open the door especially since I am vertically challenged. I definitely recommend the Allen line of bike hitches but would recommend another model without the strap.

Great bike rack for the money
This bike rack is a great rack, especially for the money. We are able to lug our family’s 5 bikes to our vacation spots. The rack was purchased for a 2006 Ford Freestyle with a 2″ hitch receiver. The rack is easy to install and remove with the locking bolt. Our 2 adult bikes and 3 childrens bikes are easily mounted on the rack. Even my son’s bike with front and back foot pegs fits easily. There is plenty of room between bikes when mounted on the rack. I had to tighten bolts to reduce the play in the rack after my first time using it now there is no play with everything tight. I am fully confident using this rack for our 200 mile plus vacation trips. Amazon shipped this quickly and it was packed very well.

Nice Bike Rack, missing machining
Purchased through Greenfish Adventure Sports. Its a really nice bike rack. However, It was missing a drilled hole for the quick release pin. Contacted Greenfish which in turn had to contact Warranty dept at Allen Racks to get a replacement. The problem was I waited till night before to put rack together before we went camping with the family and discovered this hole was missing. So my advice is assemble as soon as you get it in case you run into the same situation. Not wise to use without quick release pin!

Very pleased
After comparing features and prices of different bike racks, we went with the Allen. I was pleasantly surprised that it does, in fact, accommodate 5 bikes. A little jockeying is necessary to get seats and handle bars to fit with each other when the bikes are different sizes and styles, but they all go on – and it is much much easier the second time. Do not attempt to lower the rack with the bikes already on it. The lowering feature is good for gaining access to the back of the car, but you have to have the bikes off in order to bring it back up again and get the pin inserted. The convenience features of the premium model are well worth the few extra bucks. Rather than wrestling with a pin for each function, the latches that come with the premium model make it much easier.

I fell victim to the classic dilemma. Which workout program to use. Do I do cardio or strength training? Plyometrics or Yoga? Resistance training or Pilates? It has been enough to break my bank, as well as drive me crazy. But I do want to get in shape, and I want my wife to get in shape too! That’s not the only thing, though. I have a son who plays lacrosse, and another who plays hockey. Their coaches have suggested to us parents that we get our kids on some kind of fitness routines even in the off seasons. Of course I want to do everything possible to increase their chances of doing well, maybe even getting college scholarships. My dilemma remained, though, how to afford it?
Then I found Fitness Pass . It was like someone figured out exactly what I needed and created it just for me. Instead of just one workout regimen, I now have unlimited access to multiple workout websites. There are workouts that are perfect for my wife, my kids, and myself. The kids can find sports specific exercises, my wife has found low-impact, body specific programs, and me? I like to try them all! I get easily bored, maybe a little adult ADHD? The cool thing is, I get unrestricted admittance to all of them! I can do a routine for a day or a week, then try something else. Best of all, it doesn’t break my bank. It only costs me about 25 cents a day.
Instead of spending hundreds and maybe even thousands of dollars on gym memberships, personal trainers, exercise equipment, sports camps, and workout DVDs, I spend pennies a day and meet the fitness needs of the whole family! I feel really good about it. Not just about saving money, but about how I feel. My wife and I have both lost weight and toned up, and my kids are gaining strength and muscle. Fitness Pass is the greatest idea since sliced bread !
